New England Folk Festival 2024

Friday April 19th in the Dutchess Room from 8-8:50p 

The cello played a huge role in Scottish dance bands from the mid 18th century into the 19th. This performance is a reclamation of the tradition, drawing from historical baroque cello performance practice & inspiring more appreciation of it in modern day trad.
